Former Boston Bruin left wing Ross Lonsberry died Sunday at the age of 67 after a long battle with cancer. He played in 33 games during the 1966/67-1968/69 seasons. He scored two goals and three assists for the Bruins.
As a junior, Lonsberry led the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League in goals (67) and points (144) and was a first-team all-star in 1965-66, a season in which his Estevan Bruins reached the Memorial Cup western final.
He later played for the Los Angeles Kings, Philadelphia Flyers, and Pittsburgh Penguins.
