HODGE ELECTED BRUINS ALUMNI PRESIDENT
The Boston Bruins Alumni Association recently held its presidential election, with Ken Hodge elected as the organization's new president. A longtime contributor to the Bruins Alumni, Ken has served as the organization's vice president since 2023. Ken enjoyed a successful collegiate career at Boston College, where he led Hockey East rookies in scoring and earned Rookie of the Year honors. He was selected by the Minnesota North Stars in the 1984 NHL Entry Draft before being acquired by the Boston Bruins prior to the 1990-91 season. That year, Hodge scored 30 goals and was named to the NHL All-Rookie Team. Past Bruins Alumni presidents include Ed Sandford, Milt Schmidt, Johnny Bucyk, Bob Sweeney, Rick Middleton, and Frank Simonetti. |
