Terry Virtue
Gritty D Terry Virtue spent his 19-year professional career in the minor leagues, most notably for the Worcester Ice Cats of the American Hockey League, one of the several teams for which he served as team captain. Virtue won championships with two other AHL teams —the Hartford Wolf Pack (2000) and the Providence Bruins (1999).
He played five games in the National Hockey League, four in the 1998–99 NHL season for the Boston Bruins, and one the next season for the New York Rangers. A member of the Worcester (MA) Hockey Hall of Fame, Virtue is the head coach of Shrewsbury (MA) High School. |
