John Horrigan -- The "Voice" of the Boston Bruins Alumni
John Horrigan is a professional sports announcer, who has worked with the Boston Bruins Alumni, NHL Alumni and the New England Patriots Alumni for the last 25 years. He spent 18 years as an announcer in the Eastern Football League and has announced over 600 comedy basketball games with the Harlem Magicians, Harlem Wizards, Harlem Rockets, Harlem Hoopsters and the Court Jesters. John has called several amateur and professional boxing matches, including the National Golden Gloves and New England Golden Gloves tournaments and professional prize fights featuring "Irish" Micky Ward ("The Fighter"), Peter McNeeley and John Ruiz. He created and hosted a critically-acclaimed TV series entitled "Atlantic Boxing Television."
John is also a professional historian and has won five Boston/New England Emmy® Awards (and had twenty nominations) for his role as the writer and host of the historical television show entitled "The Folklorist".
