On the anniversary of Ace's tragic passing on 9-11-2001, teammate Rick Smith recalls Ace and his legacy carried on by the Ace Bailey Children's Foundation. Bruins Alumni Rick Middleton, Frank Simonetti, Glen Featherstone and David A. Jensen took part in a rewarding anti-bullying street hockey event at Whitinsville Christian School in Whitinsville, MA. The program was targeted to grades 6-8 and the WC students were cooperative, inquisitive and attentive. The event was held in conjunction with Hockey Cares, Inc and DAJ Hockey. The presentation took place in WC's "classic" gym and later the players toured the spectacular expanded gymnasium, easily won of the most modern and impressive such facilities in Central Massachusetts. In addition to the players, the event was facilitated by Shawn Horgan, Brian Schofield, Mark Willand and the professional and friendly Whitinsville Christian faculty and staff.
